This project brings together children and dogs and allows them to read to dogs at their own pace; the dogs don't care how long it takes, how much they may stumble on words, they just sit and lay their heads down  and give their all.

We have been doing this program for six  years now and it is very rewarding.  As of 2008, we are expanding our program to cover three sites and more will be added as we have volunteers.  Participation is open to all SRKC dogs who have passed both the Novice class and spent at least two sessions in the Advanced class or are CGC or TDI certified.
